William Sun
Hi! I'm William. I've been interested in aviation for as long as I can remember, having spent countless hours playing Flight Simulator 95 as a kid. Eventually, I decided to transition to the real thing and have been flying since 2016.
Professionally, I studied Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech and worked at NASA's Johnson Space Center before transitioning to the consulting and tech industry in the Bay Area. I enjoy teaching beyond basic airmanship and want to help you understand the theory, systems, and decision-making required to operate successfully in the modern aviation environment. I also am glad to deep dive into technical topics if you're interested!
Whether you're a student pilot just beginning your journey or a seasoned aviator pursuing an advanced rating, I'm happy to help you work toward your goals in a dynamic, fun, and safe environment.
When not teaching, I'm likely flying somewhere in my vintage Cessna 140, planning a trip abroad, watching Formula One, or playing board games with friends. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more!
