Watched closely by his CFI Rich Digrazzi, Mike successfully completed three solo takeoffs and landings.
Mike is already a helicopter pilot, and now he can also fly fixed wing. Well done Mike!

On a beautiful late afternoon, Mark Nelson shook off his instructor and took Cessna 61637 up for three great landings.

Another fledgling leaves the nest!
Hrishikesh Mehendale soloed Citabria 9091L under CFI Jim Grant’s watchful eye.
Having completed three complete circuits in the pattern, Hrishikesh was back on terra firma as a newly fledged pilot.
Congratulations and well done to Hrishi and CFI Jim.

It has only taken 40 years! That is the last time Ed Tobiasz soloed an airplane. However, undaunted by the passage of time Ed checked out in the Evektor SportStar with AeroDynamic CFI Jim Grant, and once again experienced the joy of flight.
