New Sport Pilot: Stefan Mens
Aug 23 2012Stefan came all the way from Switzerland to earn his Sport Pilot license with us. In less than a month, without too much stress, flying a couple of hours a day, Stefan achieved his goal and is now the proud holder of a Sport Pilot license.

We have a newly certified pilot. Not only that but he liked it so much he bought his own airplane! Congratulations to Mike Lancon who flew his Champ to Oakland to take and pass his checkride with Examiner Lou Fields.

It has only taken 40 years! That is the last time Ed Tobiasz soloed an airplane. However, undaunted by the passage of time Ed checked out in the Evektor SportStar with AeroDynamic CFI Jim Grant, and once again experienced the joy of flight.
