Jun 03 2012Our Cessna 170, N8245A is back on line. All shiny and pretty after her wing repairs.

She is a 1952 Cessna 170B, with four seats and four place intercom, and a nice new interior. She has long range tanks and her 145hp six cylinder Continental engine can keep her in the air longer than most people’s bladders can last.
Where elase can you fly a piece of aviation history from the golden age or taildraggers? She even featured in the French press!
Fly her, so we can keep her owner happy that he put her on leasback with us.

New Private Pilot (for the second time) – Matthias Sauer
Apr 26 2012Congratulations to Matthias Sauer who added a US Private Plot Certificate to his acomplishments. Matthias already has a German Private Pilot License for both airplanes and gliders and now he also has a US license too, granted by Examiner Jim Currier.

CFI Godfrey Watson, Examiner Sherry Diamond, and new Private Pilot Vasily Kuntsevich
Vasily Kuntsevich came all the way from frosty Saint Petersburg to fly at AeroDynamic Aviation. On January 31st, Vasily showed Examiner Sherry Diamond he has what it takes and became a Private Pilot. Congratulations to Vasily and his CFI Godfrey Watson, well done!
ATP Checkride passed: Anup Kumar

Anup Kumar and Examiner Jim Currier
Congratulations to Anup Kumar who added another class rating to his ATP. Anup worked with AeroDynamic instructor Rich Digrazzi to prepare and then earned his Single Engine ATP in our Cessna 61637 with Examiner Jim Currier. Anup already has his ATP for helicopters and multi engine airplanes and now completes the airplane category with single engine.
Well done Anup, and thanks also to Rich.
Going Solo: Vasily Kuntsevich

Vasily came to us all the way from St. Petersburg. Through intense training with CFI Godfrey Watson, Vasily has now soloed. Well done to both student and CFI!
Going Solo: Armin Monajemi
Jan 07 2012The final fledgling of the first Friday in 2012 was Armin Monajemi.
It was a beautiful late afternoon at Reid Hillview airport when Armin took Cessna 637 up for three great takeoffs and landings while his CFI Jen Delp-Mallett watched from the ground.
