“Having a family of military/commercial pilots influenced me to become one. I’m now the third generation in my family to fly, but the first female in my family. But honestly, my grandmother influenced me to fly even though she wasn’t a pilot. When she was younger she wanted to fly, but back then you had to get your father’s permission (which she did not have permission from hers) so she decided she would marry a pilot (and she did, my grandpa!). So I wanted to do this for her. My plan now is to hopefully go into the Air Force and fly my dream plane C-130.” ~ Nicole
