Evgenii completed all his training from Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI), Instrument Instructor (CFII) and now Multi-engine Instructor (MEI) with AeroDynamic Aviation. We are so delighted to welcome him to our instructor roster. He is already hard at work on training to fly from the backseat of our Citabria to add teaching tailwheel to his credentials!

Mihaela summoned up the courage to take her private pilot checkride, and PASSED! Mihaela did so much of her flight training over the last 5 years with her CFIs’ babies in the back of the plane it was fitting that the kids accompanied her to the checkride in Salinas. She will be able to fly off on mountain biking and triathlon adventures, and she looks forward flying aerobatics and getting checked out in tailwheel and the C182.

“Flying was something that I always wanted to do because of my Grandfather, Lt Col Hillary Cole. He always had so many war stories flying planes in WWII, or the Korean War. One of my favorites was when he met my grandmother and flew over with a training Jet and tipped his wings to impress my grandmother while she was sunbathing in Wisconsin. He was larger than life and a big inspiration to me. I feel very fortunate to have had him in my life and to have been able to share with him that I was also training to become a pilot before he passed away. Right now, my wife Lindsey and I are planning to use my PPL to explore California. Soon, I plan on getting an instrument rating and a mountain checkout so that we can fly more often and to more places. In the future, I see myself becoming a CFI and training new students just like my CFI, Scott Holland. Thank you Aerodynamic, I’m looking forward to my next rating!” ~Matt
