History: Scott’s flight experience includes banner-towing for ten years, cargo flying for ten years, and working as a training Captain and check airman for a part 135 operation training and checking pilots to fly Piper Chieftains, Beechcraft 99’s, and 1900’s. He has over 10,000 flying hours! This seasoned aviator is ready to help anyone on their way toward getting their pilot’s license.
His aviation career began in 1988, followed by towing banners along the beaches of Southern California, training cargo pilots in their first turboprop aircraft, and soloing students and transitioning pilots in tailwheel airplanes. Along the way, Scott received some very good mentorship, which can best be distilled to basic stick and rudder skills and resource management. His goal now is to help students find and utilize these skills, along with their own strengths, to achieve their personal aspirations in aviation.
