History: Nhat immigrated to San Jose, CA, from Vietnam at the age of seven. The journey marked his first time on an airplane, sparking a fascination with aviation and its impact on people’s lives. This early experience inspired Nhat to pursue a career as a pilot.
In 2023, he became the first in his family to graduate from college, earning a B.S. in Aviation, Flight Operations from San Jose State University. While studying to become a flight instructor, Nhat worked as a tour pilot in San Carlos, conducting scenic flights over the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Coast. These flights often allowed passengers to sit behind the controls, providing Nhat with valuable opportunities to practice and refine his instructing skills. He dedicates his teaching style to be patient, positive, and enjoyable.
Additionally, Nhat collaborated with Dallas-Fort Worth Air Traffic Controllers to enhance airspace safety and efficiency through real-time simulators. You can see Nhat’s passion for aviation in his active participation in various clubs and organizations like the Precision Flight Team, Alpha Eta Rho, the Professional Asian Pilot Association, and the Flying Twenty.
Nhat is passionate about sharing the joy and freedom of flying. No matter what your aviation goals are, he looks forward to helping you achieve them.
