SAN JOSE November 23, 2019 — AeroDynamic Aviation has been selected for the 2019 Best of San Jose Award in the Flight Instruction category by the San Jose Award Program.
Each year, the San Jose Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the San Jose area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2019 San Jose Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the San Jose Award Program and data provided by third parties.

“My grandfather is one of my life mentors and some of my best memories growing up are of listening to his stories about flying an A-20 during WWII and the Korean War. For me, it has always been a life goal to become a pilot and to share that skill with my grandfather. Before he passed last March, I was able to tell him that I had begun training to become a Pilot. I’m excited to have gotten to this milestone and my wife and I are starting to plan out where we will fly after my training is finished.” ~Matt

“Dylan has wanted to fly ever since he was a kid. His dad was a CFI and he spent most of his summers at the airport or flying around in a Cessna 150. In the immediate future, he plans to continue to grow his aviation skills by flying as much as possible. He intends to eventually upgrade his certification to Private Pilot and obtain an Instrument rating, but for now he is excited to be able to explore the country through aviation!” ~ Dylan
New Private Pilot – Adnan Pratama
Nov 13 2019Date: October 5, 2019
Certification: Private Pilot
Instructor: Kat Hanlon
Aircraft: Cessna N737ZD
“Being a pilot has been my dream as a child. But for a long time I was raised in a home where the thought of that becoming reality never came across. I first got to know that being a pilot just before I graduated from college and never got a chance to get into it until now.
Now that I am licensed, I am planning to go to different places and learn flying in different airplanes including experimental and maybe even part 103. I also plan to get my instrument if I find flying VFR got me grounded too many times due to weather.
I’d like to thank all of my instructors and special thank to Kat Hanlon for taking me when I was left halfway without instructor and pushed me towards the finish line.” ~ Adnan
