We had a greatly successful Trike Day, with a hangar full of attendees for the seminar and two full day of flying intro flights. We have now added the Trike and Pete Marsh to Schedulemaster so anyone can easily book a flight or take a course of lessons. The Antares Ranger has an 80hp Rotax 912, and has a two place ntercom and radio so it can be flown into towered airports. The wing is designed for +6/-2g so it is stronger than many airplanes.
Bonnie Ritchey and AeroDynamic instructor Jerod Flohr brought Bonnie’s new Pitts all the way from Iowa. Well done. Bonnie is now checking out, first to solo the new bird, then to start competing in acrobatic contests.
Congratulations to AeroDynamic pilot Ivan Mozara and his new bride Tanja Bagoje on their wedding in Croatia. We hope this won’t put too much of a crimp on the flying!

Trike day is coming! On August 1 at 10am we are staging a Trike Day. What is a Trike, you may ask? See Sportpilot.org. Some might say it is a cross between a motorcycle and a hang glider, it is a new category of Light Sport Aircraft and you can earn a Sport Pilot and a Private Pilot license in one. Come listen to experienced CFI Pete Marsh. Take a flight afterwards! Check out Pete’s Web site. Also read “Why Fly Weight Shift?” by Paul Hamilton, from the EAA Sport Pilot magazine.
Welcome and congratulations to Franck Poirot who came from the French West Indies to check out and solo in a Skyhawk. Franck also achieved his goal of a long solo cross country flight. Well done Franck!
